receive some therapy.
They will be at the HFBU building once a week (days may change due to availability). If you are interested, please contact them on 07947 473150 (please leave a message if you get the machine) with the reference Hackney Family Backup and they will book you in. STOP PRESS! Hackney Families Together
Hackney Families Together is a group for parents and carers of children 0-19 years old with disabilities and special educational needs.
This month we are having a special session looking at 'A break for you and fun for your kids'. We will be talking about short breaks in Hackney and what you would like. The meeting is on: Thursday 29th January 2009, 9.30 - 2.00
We have moved venue for this meeting to: City Edge (Morley Hall) 125-127 Mare Street E8 3RH.
There will be lunch provided at this meeting and a prize draw!
We are enclosing a copy of a questionnaire with the print version of this newsletter, asking for your views about Short Breaks. It is important that as many people as possible reply to this, whether or not you currently get a break. It is important that you say what you like as well as what you'd like to see improved. All existing short break services will be reviewed as part of this process so make sure you have your say! Send the form back to the FREEPOST address on the form - not to HFBU.

Hackney Families Together New Project
Hackney Family Together is keen to increase participation by all
Hackney's communities and so has
appointed a new part-time worker. The work will involve making contact with key people in
community organisations and faith groups and exploring with them the barriers their communities face in having a voice and accessing
services. Contact Deborah at HFBU for more details.
